Candidate Recruiter/ Resourcer

We are on the hunt for someone who is either experienced in recruitment or someone who is excited to learn about the world of recruitment.

Ideally the right candidate will start off candidate resourcing with the potential to become a recruitment consultant. (This helps by getting an understanding of the niche industry, the talent that is out there, where we find this talent, and how to attract talent, before negotiating directly with clients.)

The role is paying £16 – 20k plus commission (dependant on experience), with yearly bonuses and regular fun incentives. (King for a day, Bring your pets to work day, Lunch runs etc)

We also operate on the standard hours of Monday – Friday 9-5. (Although someone who is eager to go above and beyond to fill vacancies outside of these hours, will be highly successful in the world of recruitment)

We are based in Kent in a rural area so will require a car driver although if you have experience in recruitment, this may not be a deal breaker. Being in a rural area means that the role is accompanied with some glorious country views, so it certainly beats the daily view of the back of someones head whilst squeezing on a tube in London!.. (speaking from experience!)

We run a really fun office that is enjoyable to work in, but one that is really driven as there is no threshold, no cap just pure commission on top of consultants basic salary. We need someone who is quick thinking, efficent, quick to pick things up and able to own their own performance.

We also would love to hear from people who may have some recruitment experience within education, IT, science or even just a keen interest in medical discovery, research and life sciences in general. We also would love someone who is familiar with the fast pace running of a temporary or permanent recruitment desk!  (Do not worry this is not a deal breaker but is an added BONUS should you fall into any of these categories!)

Candidate Recruiter/ Resourcer Vacancy

Core working hours: 35 hours per week – 9am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour a day breaks)

Location: Orpington Sevenoaks / Rural location so driver who has own vehicle (car, moped, bike etc). Parking on site available (We have a sandwich man who comes daily and there are local places for food)

Yearly Salary: £16,000 – £20,000 dependant on experience. (Paid monthly) Plus additional bonus and incentives

Holiday entitlement: 25 days per year

Role: Candidate Resourcer

Primary function: To provide a regular supply of suitable candidates for the placement in temporary and permanent vacancies by our team of recruitment consultants.

Responsibilities for the role of S3 Science Resourcer:

By working with different S3 recruitment consultants on a daily basis it is your responsibility to:

·         Create and run vacancy adverts

·         Speak to candidates about adverts you have run

·         Alert recruiters of suitable candidates

·         Format CV’s

·         Spot candidates who would be suitable for our ‘gold clients’

·         Arrange interviews – Telephone calls and sending out confirmation emails

·         Confirmation ‘on the day of interview’ calls

·         Sorting through the info mail box

·         Giving yourself daily targets to achieve and monitoring these

·         Updating current information recording systems

·         Give out excellent customer service to both candidates and clients

·         Be a real team player – Engage and communicate the needs of the team

·         Sell the roles as a new career option to entry level candidates

·         Handle objections (during probation periods we would not expect you to be able to handle these on your own if these were to arise, we would support you and train you accordingly)

·         Own your own performance. Know what you need to achieve and plan to perform against your KPI’s. (XX amount of calls a day, xx amount of candidates registered, XX amount os suitable CV’s etc.)

·         Deliver as promised. Call back candidates when you said you would, be organised and set reminders to do so.
