Our Client is looking for a Senior Data Manager to join their growing Planning and Logistics team in Huntingdon.

The Senior Data Manager builds, maintains and improves the tools, systems and processes used by the Planning and Logistics department to enable effective scheduling and planning of studies. They work closely with Planning Managers and Business Process Excellence to ensure a smooth end to end process from enquiry management to discrete activity scheduling.

As a Senior Data Manager your main responsibilities will be:

Maintaining an expert and up to date knowledge of the planning and scheduling tools used in Planning and Logistics

Identifying benefits to the business from the upgrade of business software used in Planning and Logistics and putting forward recommendations to the P&L Manager

Taking the role of subject matter expert in business planning software upgrades

Working closely with Planning Managers and Business Process Excellence to ensure a smooth end to end process from enquiry management to discrete activity scheduling, including tool and process development to ensure they remain fit-for-purpose

Working with operational managers and other key stakeholders to translate business requirements into workable and effective planning solutions

Designing and building the task structures that will create the inputs for the discrete task scheduling tool used in CRS operations

Qualifications required:

Strong data analysis skills with the ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets

Experience of using planning software or equivalent

Competent in the development of business tools for workload and resource planning

Strong organisational skills, with good attention to detail, accuracy and time management

Competent in MS Office and expert in MS Excel

Demonstrable problem solving and decision making skills
