Study Scientist – Eco Toxicology
We are currently looking for a Study Scientist specialising in Eco Toxicology, to aid in our client’s goals, to build a healthier, safer world. This is a permanent opportunity to join one of the UK’s largest Contract Research Organisations.

The Role
If this sounds like you, our client is looking for a Study Scientist to join their growing Terrestrial Ecotoxicology team in Cambridgeshire. Our client provides essential products and research services for pharmaceutical, crop protection, chemical companies, universities, governments, research organisations.
As a Study Scientist, your main responsibilities:
 Conduct Terrestrial ecotox studies according to approved study plans, test guidelines and SOPs (Training can be provided)
 Comply with internationally accepted standards of GLP and company QA and archiving requirements
 Provide technical advice when requested
 Checking of raw data and proof reading of study reports as required
 Assist with the interpretation of data and preparation of reports to high scientific standards, within agreed time scales
 Maintain adequate supplies of stock items and organisms for terrestrial studies within the department

Experience and Qualifications
 Experience in a biology-related discipline and/or a Science-related degree
 Experience of working within a laboratory or field based environment, preferably from within academia or contract research
 Good communication, organisational and observational skills
 Ability to work accurately and follow standard methodologies
 Ability to drive is essential
