Senior DMPK Scientist

We are recruiting for a Senior DMPK Scientist to join a cutting-edge biopharmaceutical company at the forefront of drug discovery and development. As a Senior DMPK Scientist, you will play a crucial role in advancing our pipeline of novel therapeutics.

 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design and execution of in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies to support drug discovery and development programs
  • Utilise your expertise in mass spectrometry, chromatography, and other relevant analytical techniques
  • Develop and validate bioanalytical methods for the quantitative analysis of small molecules in biological matrices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust and reliable data generation
  • Conduct pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) data analysis to inform dose selection and optimisation
  • Provide insights and recommendations to project teams based on DMPK findings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry best practices in all DMPK activities
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions and interactions
  • Mentor and guide junior scientists in DMPK methodologies and study execution
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including medicinal chemists, toxicologists, and pharmacologists

 

Job Requirement:


  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacokinetics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Proven experience in the design and execution of DMPK studies in a drug discovery and development setting
  • Expertise in bioanalytical method development and validation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in relevant analytical techniques
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
