We have a new and exciting opportunity for talented individuals to join one of our prestigious clients as an Auxiliary Technician, ensuring the efficient and smooth running of their life science laboratory on a temporary basis.
It’s a role that you will be able to do knowing you will have contributed to the research and development of the next ground-breaking pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and agrochemical products and potentially make a difference in people’s lives helping to combat serious illnesses and diseases such as Cancer, Dementia and Heart Disease, etc.
The role
As an Auxiliary Technician, you will be required to carry out general maintenance and cleaning duties around the Lab assisting the Researchers and Scientists in their day-to-day duties. Your duties and responsibilities will be but not limited to:
- Washing of animal cages using a wash machine or manual method, as directed
- Cleaning and maintaining the rooms and associated areas to the company’s written standards
- Receiving and dispatching of goods into and out of the barrier, with the correct use of the sterilization procedures to maintain barrier status
- Carrying out any other tasks or duties as may be required by the Group leader or supervisor from time to time

The Requirements
- Have a good work ethic and work cohesively in a team
- 5 GCSEs at grade C or above
- You must be physically fit
- Organized and self-motivated
- Good time management, being able to stick to strict deadlines
