The Role
The role itself will be based within the Drug Abuse team at the client. You will be utilising your experience and competencies in surgeries with animal models on a regular basis. Essentially, you will be involved with the running of the IVSA animals.
You will be responsible but not limited to:
§ Carrying out Jugular Cannulation surgery and or recovery of rat models post-surgery
§ Handling of experimental data
§ Formulation and administration of compounds
§ Collection of samples and tissues
§ Assist the Study Director in the production of data and report to the client

§ The successful candidate will have their home office licence modules 1-4
§ Experience in various dosing techniques in rat models
§ Experience in surgical techniques in rat models
§ Must have a good understanding of the ASPA 1986 Act
