Statistician
Our client is an industry leading Global Pharmaceutical company who are an integral part of the scientific community within the UK. They aim to deliver life changing medicines and are looking to share this goal with healthcare, scientific and business communities within the UK.
As a Statistician within our client’s company, you will have the responsibility of being the trial statistician for one or more clinical studies. You will work closely with other statisticians, providing key input into the work you complete.
Our client is looking for statisticians of all levels, who have experience with Pre-Clinical trials, to join their team as soon as possible, therefore to be a suitable candidate, you must be available immediately.
Main responsibilities as a Statistician include but not limited to:
- Working closely with other Statisticians, the Project Lead Statistician and the partner (CRO) lead Biostatistician
- Providing key input into the study design, efficacy, and safety parameters
- Author the Statistical Analysis Plan or review and approve the SAP if prepared by an external partner Biostatistician
- Coordinating with other internal or external Biostatisticians and statistical programmers to prepare the statistical analyses
- Ensure that innovation is driven and promoted throughout the Biostatistics teams
What skills, experience and qualifications do I need?
- Extensive experience as a Statistician within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Experience leading projects and/or teams across either Early Phase or Late Phase
- Knowledge and experience of multiple programming languages specifically SAS
- Sound knowledge across a variety of therapy areas
- Ability to communicate complex hypothesis to Non-Statisticians
